We bought these books at the prompting of a woman who was going to teach piano to our daughter. It turned out she was unable to teach her and the new teacher had never used these books. After going through level 1 books, we decided these books were very thorough and we liked how they progressed through teaching piano. We had a few other level. 2 books we planned to use, but they did jot follow the same sequence of teaching, so we bought these books again. We really like the songs they use for the lessons and they provide many duets to play together. The duets are not only fun, but they sound really good!
