When I buy an book describing the life and work of a particular artist, I look for a number of features. The book should be well bound on suitable art paper. It should have clear, finely printed samples of the artist's work and the text should provide a well written description of the artist's life and the artist's relationship to the history of the times.As this is one of the few reasonably priced books on this artist published in English, it is great that it scores well on all of these features.This is a beautiful book.
